AIDS Killing Priests

Kansas City, Mo. -- Roman Catholic priests in the United States are dying from AIDS-related illnesses at a rate FOUR TIMES HIGHER than the general population, and the cause is often concealed on their Death Certificates, a newspaper reported Sunday (January 30th, 2000.)

In the first of a three-part series, the Kansas City Star said Death Certificates and interviews with experts indicated several hundred priests have died of AIDS-related illnesses since the mid-1980s and hundreds more are living with HIV, the virus that causes the disease.

"I think this speaks to a failure on the part of the church", said Auxiliary Bishop Thomas Gumbleton of the Archdiocese of Detroit, MI. "Gay (homosexual) priests and heterosexual priests didn't know how to handle their sexuality, their sexual drive. And so they would handle it in ways that were not healthy." "How to be celibate and to be gay (homosexual) at the same time, and how to be celibate and heterosexual at the same time, that's what we were never really taught how to do. And that was a major failing."

* When asked about their sexual orientation, 75 percent said they were heterosexual, 15 percent admitted they were homosexual, 5 percent more admitted they were bisexual, and another 5 percent apparently didn't want to say. That equates to a possible 25 percent of Catholic priest that are at the very least sexual misfits.

* But the truly sad part isn't just the high percentage of AIDS or sexual perversions within the Catholic church, although that is extremely sad. The truly sad part is the fact that the church leaders don't even recognize the fact (OR care) that you cannot be homosexual or bi-sexual and a True Worshipper at the same time (see "Homosexuality"). That Christopagan priests are walking around in their long robes, smiling and greeting everyone like a Judas, while sitting in the high seats of their high offices and at the dinner tables, all the while they are perverting those who would trustingly come unto them for Instruction in Righteousness (which they know nothing of). Apparently no one in the leadership of the Roman church understands that you cannot be Self-centered and Yahweh-centered at the same time, and that the Catholic church does Not have the authority to change the commandments or traditions of our Creator G-d, Yahweh.

Luke 20:46-47 "Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces, the best seats in the synagogues, and the best places at feasts; who devour widows' houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these will receive greater condemnation."

1 Peter 5:6-11

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of G-d, that he may exalt you in due time;

7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

8 Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

10 But may the G-d of all grace (who called you to his eternal glory by Messiah Yahshua), after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Ephesians 4:11-24

11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Messiah;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of G-d, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Messiah;
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of G-d, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts;
19 who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you did not learn Messiah that way;
21 if indeed you heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Messiah Yahshua:
22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
23 and that you be renewed in the (Holy) Spirit of your mind,
24 and put on the new man, that like G-d has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
